The women and men of the Verfeil rescue center are putting the finishing touches to the preparations for the firefighters’ ball scheduled for Saturday in En Solomiac. From 2:30 p.m., the cultural center park will welcome the public around inflatable games and workshops. An extrication demonstration is planned at 5 p.m. before an aperitif hosted by Banda 31 and a meal served on site (by reservation at the Petit Tobacco shop at our place). A ball will follow (DJ entertainment) just interrupted by fireworks at nightfall.
Not to be missed: the robot show with the Pompy mascot and the dancers invited to set the dance floor on fire. An event which will also celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Verfeil rescue center.
Two young recruits
The party promises to be great judging by the attendance at the open day which was organized on Saturday. Many families discovered the facilities of the Verfeilloise barracks, in particular Hugo and Mahé, two young twins aged 2 and a half, who had dressed in their firefighter outfits to climb into the red vehicles. Surely future recruits to the rescue center!
