Les Sables-d’Olonne Vendée. What is the amount of the PRIZE paid to the winning Skipper of the Vendée Globe 2024?
It is the Notice of Race 2024-25, in its article no. 16, which specifies the amount of Prizes paid to Skippers for the Vendée Globe 2024-25.
The total amount paid will be €800,000 in the form of cash prizes (Editor’s note: that is to say in money) according to the Vendée Globe ranking:
1st: 200,000 Euros TTC
2th : 140,000 Euros TTC
3th : 100,000 Euros TTC
4th : 80,000 Euros TTC
5th : 50 000 Euros TTC
6th : 40,000 Euros TTC
7th : 30 000 Euros TTC
8th : 25,000 Euros TTC
9th : 20,000 Euros TTC
10th : 15,000 Euros TTC
That's a total of €700,000 for the first 10.
About the remaining €100,000
Skippers ranked beyond 10th place will share the remaining 100,000 Euros including tax.
The share of each of them cannot be greater than the price received by the 10th.
The remainder will then be distributed, equally, between all the Skippers ranked from the 4th ranked Skipper.
In the event that 10 or fewer Skippers are classified, the remaining amount of undistributed prizes will be distributed equally among all classified Skippers.

POSITIONS OF BOATS AT THE PORT OF LES SABLES D’OLONNE
