By the time firefighters intervened, the flames were beginning to spread to the toll booth. No injuries were reported. At this time, it is not known when the access ramp will reopen.

The toll will remain closed at least for the night, both for exiting and entering the motorway ribbon. CRS motorway police officers and Area agents are on site to secure the scene. Consequently, motorway users will have to enter or exit the motorway from the large barrier of Saint-Quentin-Fallavier.
