Singer Beyoncé will give a concert during halftime of an American football match which will be broadcast live on Netflix on the evening of December 25.
It's a gift that Queen B gave to her fans for Christmas. An event when we know that this is his first concert since the release of his album Cowboy Carter, in March 2024. An album in homage to the African-American roots of country.
Standing on a car covered in petals, a soccer ball that she caught in the air and her hair blowing in the wind, the star announced the news through an Instagram post on Monday, November 18.
Exclusive guests
The concert will take place at NRG Stadium in Houston (Texas), the singer's hometown. The match will pit the Houston Texans and the Baltimore Ravens. Halftime will give way to the global star.
According to Netflix's press release, “very special guests featured on the album” are expected to participate in the concert. Beyoncé notably collaborated with Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Stevie Wonder, Paul McCartney, Nile Rodgers on her album Cowboy Carter.
Queen B, star sans Grammy
With 88 cumulative nominations, including eleven at the Grammy Awards, the famous ceremony which rewards artists from the world of music, she has never obtained the precious trophy for best album. Cowboy Carter is one of the favorites this year to win it in February at the next ceremony.
