Meeting this Monday, the LFP board of directors confirmed the location and date of the 2024 Champions Trophy between PSG and AS Monaco.
PSG and AS Monaco finally know when they will face each other in the 2024 Champions Trophy. And as has been the trend since last week, it is in Doha, Qatar that this PSG/Monaco will compete which was initially scheduled to take place on August 8 in China on the Beijing side.

According to L’Equipe, the LFP board of directors validated this Monday the holding of the Champions Trophy in Doha, as well as the date, set for Sunday January 5, 2025. On this date, PSG and Monaco were initially due to to face in Ligue 1 on the side of Louis II, and the Monaco / PSG of the 16th day was finally rescheduled for Wednesday December 18, 2024, i.e. between the PSG / OL match (15 December) and the 32nd final of the Coupe de France (opponent to be determined).
Note that according to L’Equipe, the Champions Trophy in Qatar will bring in around €3 million for the LFP and part of the sum will be donated to the two teams. In recent days, Ivory Coast had also positioned itself to host the Champions Trophy, but the LFP preferred to opt for Doha. In terms of broadcasting, DAZN will broadcast the Champions Trophy.
