A motorcycle hit the windrower attached to the back of a tractor on departmental road no. 7, in Aron (Mayenne), Tuesday June 25, 2024 around 2:30 p.m. According to the fire brigade group leader, the vehicle two wheels “passed the tractor on the left as it was turning left” to enter a field, near the place called Les-Cerisiers.
Two injured in hospital
The two bikers ended up on the ground. Injured, they were treated by emergency services then transported to Mayenne hospital. The motorcycle was towed around 3:15 p.m. The driver of the tractor, unharmed, left with his vehicle a few minutes before.
Firefighters from the emergency centers of Ambrières-les-Vallées, Lassay-les-Châteaux, Laval and Mayenne were mobilized. During the intervention, traffic was regulated by gendarmes from the brigade communities of Lassay and Mayenne.
