A terrible accident occurred this Sunday, November 17 at the beginning of the afternoon in the town of Pouligney-Lusans in Doubs, causing the death of a 22-year-old young person.

The accident occurred on rue des Perrières. According to initial information from the gendarmes, a young man from the town was working on a vehicle. He was trapped and found himself pinned under the vehicle. The jack which held the vehicle in place would have failed according to our information. The young man was changing an exhaust pipe.
The young man who was working in front of the family home was freed by his mother who began a cardiac massage guided over the phone by the fire operator.
Once on site, the firefighters and the SMUR team took care of the victim, who had suffered serious head injuries. Despite an attempt at resuscitation, the 22-year-old young man was pronounced dead.
16 firefighters responded to this tragic incident. The Roulans gendarmerie is responsible for the investigation. She has already concluded that it was a dramatic domestic accident.
