Winter sets in and the desire to slalom the slopes begins to be felt. After the first snow fell on November 12, comes the question of the opening date of the Alpine ski areas.

Near Nice, several stations will soon open. Dates, prices: news Nice takes stock of the ten stations present in the Alpes-Maritimes.

From the second weekend of December for some

Some Maralpine resorts have already set the opening date for their slopes. You will have to wait until December 7 for Auron, Isola 2000 and Colmiane, and until December 21 for Roubion-les-Buisses.

Of course, everything will depend on the snow conditions. In 2023, the opening of Auron and Isola 2000 was postponed from December 2 to December 9, due to lack of sufficient snow cover.

Uncertain opening for others

However, the suspense remains intact in Gréolières les Neiges. “We do not have a planned opening date at the moment,” the station responded to a user on Facebook.

For an adult package, it will cost 42 euros in Isola 2000 (33.60 euros from 12:30 p.m.) and Auron, 37 in Beuil and Valberg (33 euros from 11 a.m.). In La Colmiane as in Gréolières, it will cost 25 euros.

The stations will close between the end of March and the end of April. In Isola 2000, the date has already been set: winter will end on April 21.
