With the Dobbs decision, each state or territory decides whether or not to allow women to have an abortion. In the wake of that ruling just two years ago, more than a dozen states have banned abortion altogether, and many others have adopted or proposed increased restrictions. In New York, the attorney general created a hotline for New Yorkers seeking an abortion before 24 weeks, but also for patients from other states who would be interested as well as organizations providing them with material support. The service is free, coordinated between 24 law firms and eight organizations, available in twelve languages ​​and accessible to minors.
