The first generation C-HR encountered a very big success in Europe. With the arrival of the second, on the other hand, one of the main criticisms that has been expressed towards it is its high price. This is why we wanted to check what was really happening. So we went on the Toyota configurator and we took the most expensive, whether in terms of engine, customization elements and equipment.

Finishes on the C-HR

So that the final price is as close as possible to reality, we have chosen not to go for the “Première” editions from Toyota. Indeed, although these are the most expensive and best equipped versions, they are likely to disappear in the future. This is why we decided to choose the most expensive finish in the Toyota range apart from “special” editions. And this finish is the “GR Sport” whose call price is 43 400 €. For comparison, the C-HR is offered from €34,900 entry level.
Next, we had to choose the engine for our C-HR. In total, you have two on the C-HR, namely a simple hybrid and a plug-in hybrid. It is towards the latter that we oriented ourselves, making us climb the price of our C-HR at €49,400.
Concerning the color, rims and upholstery of our C-HR, no extra charge is required. If we only have one set of rims and one type of upholstery available, Toyota gives us the choice between several colors. We chose the two-tone blue metallic paint with the black roof.

Equipment and options

Once we have chosen the base, it is time to add options to our C-HR. Toyota only offers us one option pack on the C-HR. It’s the Pack Techno” displayed at the price of 1 500 €. The latter includes the intelligent interior rearview mirror, digital key, head-up display, adaptive front headlights, automatic headlight height adjustment and cornering lights.
Once we have chosen the Pack Techno”, Toyota also offers us to add quite a few options. And obviously, we all tookto know :
The steps, 1 020 €
The panoramic roof, 800 €
Roof bars, 250 €
The wiring harness for the tow ball, 399 €
The hitch ball, 676 €
The mud flaps at the front and rear, 130 €
A model designation plate on the rocker panel visible when the door is opened, 0 €
Ski roof box, 1 090 €
Vertical trunk net, 52 €
Dog separation grid, 394 €
So many options that have seriously increased the price of our Toyota C-HR!

The final price of the Toyota C-HR

All this gives us a Toyota C-HR at €55,711 (list price). If we take as a reference the call price of the C-HR of 34 900 €we added €8,500 for finishing GR Sport, €6,000 for the motorization plug-in hybrid and €6,311 in options and accessories. At this price, you have the Toyota C-HR the most equipped and the most expensive on the market.
