You were absent during the last two matches, I imagine that you are very keen to return to the group this weekend?
I'm always hungry to play rugby, Christophe knows that. We're pretty good on the wings so the way Christophe works for the team is good because it concerns everyone but when we're not playing, we really want to play, especially when we see the home games with this crowd, that's it. makes you excited to get back on the pitch.
This is your 2nd season at Langon, you told us earlier that the competition was strong at all positions. How do you feel here?
I feel really good at Langon, we often have to say it but I really found this family/friends side, there is no one who thinks they are someone else here, that's what is really good and which, in the end, works. Last year, it was a shame because I got injured just before the final stages, I was thrilled with my friends at the end of the season but I didn't have the chance to be on the pitch for the stages so it was a bit of a challenge to come back with the club and also to concentrate on it since I was injured just after Belgium.
We're going to take a quick look at your international career with Belgium. Are there any upcoming deadlines?
We are participating in the 6 Nations B with Belgium so it’s interesting. We play teams like Georgia, Portugal, Spain in stadiums where there are sometimes 10,000 people so it has this international match aspect which is exciting. This summer, we went to South America to do a tour and there, we have 3 matches in February for the 6 Nations B which, potentially, could allow us to qualify for the World Cup, if we win 2 of them. the 3 of us are qualified in Australia and I think that for any player, it is still a dream to make a World Cup. It's also important to come back to the club and focus on it.
