In Vignory, Saturday November 16, members of the History and Heritage association and municipal councilors went to the Château esplanade in the morning to maintain the premises. They had the unpleasant surprise of finding public property deliberately degraded.
Near the Keep and the Well Tower, several wooden benches are available so that visitors can rest and admire, from the viewpoints, the landscapes available to them, as well as the remains of the castle .
One of the benches, located in the shelter of the ash trees, was simply unsealed and transported a few dozen meters into the grass, to be burned there. According to observations made on site, it seems that this fire could have been used to make a barbecue, another bench and a table had been moved near the hearth.
In the ash crater, all that remains are a few half-charred planks and pieces of concrete that were used to seal the bench during its installation. Traces suggest that damage was also committed inside the Well Tower.
