The final fight for the 2024 MotoGP world champion title has arrived. This final round of the season takes place in Barcelona. The Catalan route is visited for the second time of the year to replace Valencia, affected by terrible deadly floods at the end of October.

After the victory of Pecco Bagnaia (Ducati) during this Saturday’s Sprint, the Italian will start the Grand Prix 19 points behind the championship leader, Jorge Martín (Pramac). To win a first world title, the Spaniard will need to score at least seven points this Sunday.

In defense of his title, Bagnaia will start from pole position in the Barcelona Solidarity Grand Prix. He will have on his right in the front row, the Spaniards Aleix Espargaro (Aprilia) and Marc Márquez (Gresini). Martín will be in the wake of his rival, starting from fourth place on the grid. He will be accompanied on the second row by his teammate Franco Morbidelli (Pramac) as well as Pedro Acosta (Tech3).

On the French side, Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha) will start in tenth position. Johann Zarco (LCR) will accompany his compatriot on the fourth row (12th).

Meet at 2:00 p.m. for the start of the last Grand Prix of the 2024 MotoGP season, which will be followed live with commentary on AUTOhebdo.fr.
