UA hostage taking is underway this Saturday, November 16 at the start of the afternoon in Issy-les-Moulineaux, in the Paris suburbs. The owner of a restaurant has taken refuge in his establishment, where he has several employees, indicated the Paris firefighters (BSPP).
A major security system was deployed around the restaurant, located a few steps from the Paris ring road, journalists on site noted. The police are surrounding the area, but the exact number of hostages remains uncertain, as does the presence of weapons. According to a police source, the man, armed with a knife, is in his father’s restaurant and is holding “three or four employees”. No customers or members of the public are in the establishment.
