Finally the weekend and we would like to enjoy it with a little sun. Unfortunately, our sky will remain very gray this Saturday, November 16, 2024, but we are expecting clearing up for Sunday. We celebrate the Marguerites.

What's the weather for this Saturday, November 16? The anticyclonic belt present yesterday, from the center of the North Atlantic to the Alps, is weakening and giving way to a disturbed westerly current generated by a depression centered in the Norwegian Sea.
This morning the sky is very cloudy. Some light rain is possible near the coast. The wind is light but oriented southwest.
In this westerly low pressure current which is establishing itself, a disturbance approaches the coasts in the evening bringing rain. It crosses the region during the coming night and evacuates the south of Aisne mid-morning tomorrow Sunday.
Ahead, this afternoon, the sky remains overcast to very cloudy. The wind gradually strengthens and shifts to the west towards the sea.
The minimums are around 6 to 9°.
The maximums flirt with 8 to 12°.
On Sunday, the disturbance therefore leaves southern Picardy mid-morning. At the rear, a weak west-northwest train is setting up. The weather is cloudy with large periods of clearing and rare showers occur in the afternoon. The wind is moderate from the west. The minimums are close to 5 to 9°, the maximums 9 to 12°.
On Monday, a depression deepens in Ireland and strengthens the westerly current. A new disturbance reaches Nord-Pas-de-Calais in the morning and extends to South Picardy in the afternoon. Overcast and rainy weather sets in over Hauts-de-France, with rain intensifying in the afternoon in the north of the region. The west-southwest wind is strong with gusts of around 50 km/h in the interior and 50 to 70 km/h on the coast. The minimums are around 4 to 8° from South Picardy to the coast and the maximums vary from 10 to 13°.
Tuesday, during the night, the Irish depression moves eastwards, reaching the North Sea in the morning and reaching Denmark in the evening. The associated disturbance remains in the region all morning, bringing overcast skies and sometimes heavy rain. The accumulations should be significant and remain to be specified. It is currently forecast locally between 30 and 40 mm from the Baie de Somme to Pas-De-Calais.
Then the trolling reaches the coast at the beginning of the afternoon and extends to the entire region in the evening. The sky then cleared up despite a few clouds. Showers develop on the coast. The wind is strong, from the southwest under the disturbance and turns northwest with the arrival of clearings. Gusts between 60 and 80 km/h occur in the interior and 80 to 90 km/h on the coast. We have 7 to 13° during the day.
This Saturday, November 16, concentrations of PM2.5 particles continue to increase with the maintenance of low dispersive conditions. Air quality is therefore degraded in the central part of the region, from north to south, and remains average elsewhere. Now monitor air quality hour by hour and as close as possible to your home on the app Air to Goto adapt your activities and preserve your health.
Today we lose 3 minutes of sunshine and we celebrate Marguerite. Happy birthday to you !
