Daniel Boulud is one of the chefs who does not forget their origins. Beyond his frequent return trips to the Lyon region, he was able to bring across the Atlantic some recipes that are dear to him. In addition to its starred restaurant Daniel, Le Pavillon, Café Boulud, Maison Boulud, Joji and Joji box, blue box café, Maison Barnes, Boulud grocery store, db bistro, bar Boulud and Boulud sud, in 2022, it opened between Wall street and the Brooklyn Bridge a Lyonnais cork, Le Gratin (where we interviewed the most Lyonnais of American gastronomic critics, Bill Buford).

The native of Saint-Pierre-de-Chandieu (69) opened a restaurant at the corner of 24th street and Park avenue that resonates with the Lyonnais: La Tête d’or by Daniel. This restaurant gives pride of place to beautiful pieces of grilled meat, with a French touch, cooking over a wood fire and a fine wine list. Opening of La Tête d’Or: November 19, 2024.
