News – Champagne FM – Fatal fire
A dramatic fire occurred Thursday evening in Charleville-Mézières, according to information from our colleagues in the Ardennes.
The fire started in an apartment on rue Jules-Hubert, in the Mohon district.
When the firefighters arrived, the fire had been extinguished by the neighbors but the occupant of the accommodation, a man in his sixtiescould not be resuscitated by emergency services.
A neighbor, slightly intoxicated with smoke, was transported to the city hospital.
An investigation has been opened to determine the circumstances of this fire.
