Solidarities
It is a national festival which, for the second year in a row, finds a local echo in Saint-Avé. THE Solidarity Festival (Festisol) will be held in Aveyron, from November 17 to 29. In reality, this event has long been carried out in the country of Vannes by a collective of associations which died out in 2018.

Relaunched in 2023 by SAS, the collective is gaining a little more volume this year again with, as Jean-Pierre Mahé of SAS wishes, partners who come to offer numerous activities.
Soup and plant swap
They will begin on Sunday, November 17, on the Sunday market where the Solidarity Cooks and the Municipal Social Action Center (CCAS) will be present. We collect unsold organic produce from local suppliers all year round to offer around 300 events per year.
presents Jacques Cardot, the president of Cuisiniers solidaires. For Sunday, the objective is to involve as many people as possible in making a solidarity soup that we will enjoy together.
A morning launch of Festisol which will take place alongside the avéen Sustainable Development Laboratory (DDLAB), the latter organizing a plant swap.
Solidarity Day
The second highlight of Festisol will be the solidarity day on November 24, at the Jean-Le Gac space. Numerous activities will be offered by all partner associations, such as DDLAB. With a workshop on fast fashion to show the harms of this type of production”,
or the presence of SOS Méditerranée, which will present its action through a debate.
Saint-Vincent-de-Paul will organize a winter clothing drive which we will redistribute during our marauding, mainly in Vannes. We are in huge demand at the moment for warm clothing, blankets and even sleeping bags, because in Vannes there is not enough emergency accommodation,”

The collective La Tête à la verre (Lataf) will offer to discover its work on mental health. We have been working for a year and a half on the relationship between patients and caregivers, on the way we can view the subject. We are halfway there and we are going to put the material we have worked on to the test through an animation that we will offer twice on set,”
