You may not know it, but June 21 is World Motorcycle Day. A great opportunity to take yours out to celebrate! This day is part of the “world days” calendar which includes others!
June 21 marks the first day of summer. Although for the northern half of France, this is not obvious… But it is also another important date for the motorcycling community, since it is World Motorcycle Day, in other words the world day of motorcycle ! A good excuse to go for a nice walk! In France, there have also been National Motorcycle and Biker Days (JNMM) since 2014, which are organized by road safety. But they seem not to have taken place since its cancellation during Covid. Note that there are world days for almost all causes and that we share the day of June 21 with:
- World Slow Day – this one may concern some motorized two-wheelers (!)
- World Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Day
- World Yoga Day (an ideal session before hitting the busy ring road)
- World Giraffe Day for lovers of this beautiful ungulate
- World Hydrography Day
- And the music festival of course!
