The body of a man was found by the police on Wednesday November 13 on the towpath, in Saint Aubin-les-Elbeuf, in Seine-Maritime. The death was likely of natural origin.

Emergency police were alerted on November 13 that a body was on the towpath in Saint-Aubin-les-Elbeuf, in Seine-Maritime. A crew went to the scene around 10:40 a.m. and discovered a deceased man sitting on a rock and leaning forward, in a state of rigor mortis.
Next to the man’s body, the police found a box of red wine. The victim was identified as a man born in 1980, and living in Elbeuf.
The investigation will reveal more about the causes of death, which are likely of natural origin.
