Present on the calendar since 1955 – except in 2020 due to Covid-19 – the Monaco Grand Prix is one of the most prestigious races in the premier category and in motorsport in general.
“I am delighted that Formula 1 will continue in Monaco until 2031,” F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali said in a statement. “The streets of Monte Carlo are unique and a famous part of Formula 1. The Monaco Grand Prix remains a race that every driver dreams of winning. »
The 2025 Grand Prix will take place from May 23 to 25 while from 2026, it will be scheduled each year during the first full weekend of June.
The last Monaco Grand Prix was won last May by Monegasque Charles Leclerc driving a Ferrari.
