Then, Georges-Louis Bouchez does not mince his words on the worrying situation shown by these latest events. “In a country where we have so many supporters of human rights, it surprises me that this doesn’t outrage anyone. Where is Amnesty? Where are all our friends from the CNCD and other subsidized public money? Besides, I wanted to congratulate President Retailleau (Editor’s note: French Minister of the Interior), which makes him respect the right in a liberal democracy: ‘Anyone has the right to move around, participate in a sport and have convictions, without having a physical threat to the person’. Bravo to France and shame to Belgium.”
