The Honor 200 Lite 5G joined the brand’s mid-range smartphone catalog last April. The manufacturer had already presented it as one of the thinnest and lightest models on the market. Other of its advantages have been highlighted, starting with its large screen or its 108 Mpx main sensor. In short, a smartphone with great promises, which is much more recommendable during Black Friday since we can currently find it offered for less than 200 euros.

A very thin smartphone that is pleasant in the hand
It’s impossible to talk about the Honor 200 Lite without discussing its thin and light body, a feature that the brand widely boasts about. It must be said that its weight of 166 g and its thickness of 6.78 mm make it a fairly unique smartphone on the market, at a time when behemoths that approach 7 inches generally have a rather substantial weight. And who says light smartphone, does not mean fragile smartphone here since this model has a 5-star certification by SGS. The Honor 200 Lite therefore promises great robustness and resistance to falls.
As for its screen, the Honor 200 Lite has a 6.7-inch Amoled panel in Full HD+ definition (2,412 x 1,080 pixels) and 20.1:9 format. Enough to enjoy very clear and detailed images. Honor even provides full coverage of the DCI-P3 space, which promises a very rich color palette. In terms of fluidity, the Honor 200 Lite performs well with its 90 Hz refresh rate.
Sufficient performance
In terms of performance, the Honor 200 Lite contains a Dimensity 6080 chip from MediaTek, supported by 8 GB of RAM here. According to the benchmarks, it would be a little more powerful than a Snapdragon 685, but the latter is already not very powerful. Keep in mind that while the smartphone should offer pleasant performance for simple tasks, it could be a little limited for demanding games. On the photo side, the smartphone is equipped with a 108 Mpx wide-angle main sensor, a 5 Mpx ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 2 Mpx macro sensor (anecdotal, as always…). Let’s not forget the 50 Mpx front sensor, which should allow you to capture beautiful selfies.
Finally, regarding its autonomy, the Honor 200 Lite integrates a 4,500 mAh battery, compatible with what Honor calls its “SuperCharge”. The smartphone can be recharged with a 35W power adapter, which is not included, however.
