This Tuesday, for a reason still unknown, a fire broke out in a building dedicated to early childhood in the town of Le Malesherbois, near Pithiviers (Loiret). A major rescue system was deployed on the scene to put an end to the disaster, but above all to evacuate the numerous people, adults and children, present in the structure, reports the site Actu.fr.
Residents raised the alarm early in the afternoon. Shortly after 2 p.m., the first firefighters set up two water hoses to control the blaze. The 2,000 square meter building is a multi-reception space housing many young children. Evacuation is urgent.
42 people, including 23 children, evacuated
After an aerial check carried out using a drone, firefighters quickly invaded the scene and evacuated 42 people, including 23 children. No serious injuries were reported. The victims were taken into a community room to receive first aid.
The violence of the fire was such that 33 firefighters were mobilized for this intervention. A command module, an aerial ladder, an ambulance and a breathing air vehicle were also on site as reinforcements.
