Rugby school: a relaxing day for the youngest

After the under-14s left for three days (for Pentecost) at the Agde Tournament, the under-8s, 10s and 12s over a weekend (May 25 and 26) at the “Bois Perché” in Aspet, Saturday, the youngest, under 6 years old and Baby Rugby met at the Montaigon farm for a day of relaxation. Despite the gloomy weather, around thirty girls and boys, accompanied by parents and a few older brothers, met at 10 a.m. in Cérizols to participate in games during the morning during which the budding rugby players showed all their talent. Five teams of six, each representing a continent, showed their dedication in the proposed events (rugby player’s course, vortex throw, blind course, passing challenge, riddles, etc.), which required application and concentration. A “red thread” was also proposed, photos: of trees, cows, straw, calves, rabbits, tractors…) what could be more normal on a large farm. On arrival, all the children had a great time. After the events, awards were given, “Mugs”, flocked with the MCS logos and rugby balls, accompanied by sweets, were given to each participant. All those present then gathered around the tables, to share a hearty “Auberge Espagnole” garnished by the parents, enhanced by succulent grilled meats prepared by Nicolas Tramier and Eric Tussau. Everyone left enchanted by this friendly day spent in Ariège.
