This Wednesday, colleagues of the former professor will be heard.

They worked with him every day for months or years. This Wednesday, November 13, on the seventh day of the trial for the assassination of Samuel Paty, the former colleagues of the professor of history and geography at the d'Aulne college will be heard by the special assize court of Paris.

During the ten days preceding the tragedy, the teachers had supported the professor who was then threatened by “local Islamists” except for two of them. The latter had not contested Samuel Paty's course on freedom of the press and freedom of expression during which he had shown Charlie Hebdo caricatures of the Prophet, but had contested the fact that he had asked, to students who wanted him out, before he showed these satirical drawings.
