Entire family killed in Kryvyi Rih after Russian strike
In Kryvyi Rih, under the rubble of a residential building hit by a Russian missile on November 11, the bodies of three children were found. Earlier in the evening, rescuers had recovered the body of a woman.
According to Serhiy Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional administration, this attack cost the lives of four people. The youngest victim was not yet a year old.
“A terrible tragedy. My sincere condolences to the loved ones of the victims,” he said.
Fourteen people were injured, including two children. Four injured people, including an 11-year-old boy, are currently in hospital in a moderately serious condition.
A resident, Iryna, told “Suspilne” that she feared having lost three grandchildren and her daughter-in-law. His son would have miraculously survived. “The children were 10 years old, 2 and a half years old, and 2 months old. They were at home. My son was in the kitchen preparing breakfast. He survived by falling to the second floor, but his wife and children are under the rubble,” she said.
Trump interested in two points of Zelensky's Victory Plan – Financial Times
According to the British newspaper *Financial Times*, Donald Trump, winner of the American presidential election, expressed his interest in two points of the Victory Plan presented by Volodymyr Zelensky during their meeting in September 2024.
It is reported that Ukraine's allies in Europe and the United States, including influential Republicans, have advised on how to formulate proposals that would encourage close cooperation with Kyiv, rather than ending aid crucial to the country, according to Ukrainian and European officials.
Two of these ideas appear in Zelensky's Victory Plan, designed, according to those involved in its development, to address Trump specifically. These proposals were presented to Trump during his meeting with the Ukrainian president in New York in September.
One of the proposals provides for the replacement, after the war, of part of the American troops stationed in Europe by Ukrainian forces.
The other, initially developed by Republican Senator Lindsey Graham, a Trump ally, suggests sharing Ukraine's strategic natural resources with its Western partners.
Trump would have expressed “interest” in these two points, according to a source briefed on the meeting.
At the same time, Ukrainian business leaders are negotiating with the government to offer Trump “investment screening” powers, allowing him to decide who can do business in Ukraine.
One person involved in the planning described the idea as “ABC – Anyone But China,” which could particularly appeal to Trump. Ukrainian industries dependent on Chinese technologies and materials, such as telecommunications, could thus turn to American suppliers, attracting more Western investment. The proposal is still at an early stage, but some business leaders close to the presidency say it could well align with Trump's interests.
So far, Western allies have reacted coldly to the Victory Plan, particularly regarding Kyiv's formal invitation to join NATO and the provision of more modern weaponry.
Last week, Zelensky said he had an “excellent” first phone conversation with Trump after his re-election. However, Kyiv and its allies fear the United States will reduce its military support after the Republican takes office in January.
In particular, in Kyiv, it is estimated that Donald Trump's victory diminishes the chances of seeing Ukraine invited to join NATO.
In the Kursk region, the Defense Forces inflicted a “black day” on the enemy: an assault battalion was wiped out.
On November 11, Russian forces launched an unsuccessful attack in the Kursk region. The Defense Forces of Ukraine, including the 47th “Magura” mechanized brigade, destroyed a battalion of Russian soldiers.
This was reported by Anastasiia Blyshchyk, spokesperson for the 47th brigade, during an interview on national television quoted by “ArmiaInform” on November 12.
“Yesterday was a black day for the Russian occupiers, who attempted to launch 5 to 6 assaults. Ten units of armored vehicles were destroyed. Three armored personnel carriers exploded on mines, and other equipment was destroyed using FPV drones and Stugna anti-tank systems,” she said.
She added that other armored vehicles were destroyed by neighboring brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Some of the occupants were eliminated, while those who survived fled and hid in the woods. According to her, the latter are currently being searched for by Ukrainian drones.
