The Union des marques supports the CLEMI Zero Cliché prize

The Union des marques has been involved in the fight against stereotypes for several years by supporting the CLEMI Zéro Cliché prize, which rewards the best projects carried out in class to combat inequalities between women and men.

CLEMI (Center for Media and Information Education) organizes each year the Zéro Cliché competition, which aims to raise students’ awareness of the issue of gender stereotypes in the media. The Union des Marques, as a partner of the event for several years, supports this initiative and participates in the competition jury.

This year, the College Grand Prize was awarded by the Union des Marques to the students and teachers of the Collège Privé Saint-Augustin de Carnoux in Provence for their video on “Women and science, an old story of stereotypes”. This video highlights gender stereotypes in science and encourages young girls to pursue careers in science, thereby helping to raise awareness of these issues among younger generations and promote a more just and egalitarian society.

This initiative is part of the work carried out by the Union of brands with the Media Smart project, a media education program for children aged 7 to 16, which develops and disseminates free educational resources to help young people understand and evaluate the advertisements they encounter in their daily lives.
