[7 heures] The three-day marathon tour is coming to an end. Yaël Braun-Pivet and Gérard Larcher begin the last day of their trip to New Caledonia, this Wednesday, November 13.
The day will begin with a visit to Kenu-In, from 7:30 a.m. At the foot of the commercial complex completely destroyed by the flames in the first days of the violence, the President of the National Assembly and the President of the Senate will meet the economic players hit hard by the insurrection crisis of May. An interview with union representatives is then scheduled, before a visit to Camp-Est.
This afternoon, the parliamentary duo will have lunch with members of the “Words, Memories, Truth and Reconciliation” committee. They will then meet the 33 mayors of New Caledonia. Their day will end with a work session at Congress.
