Mike Tyson’s last boxing exhibition took place on November 28, 2020.
It’s a rare occurrence when a piece of news brings two big announcements, but when it comes to a fight between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson, it’s all about leaving nothing to chance…so much so that even Netflix joined the party.
Jake Paul will enter the ring to face one of the most fearsome men in boxing history, Mike Tyson.
Netflix is taking its entry into the sports space very seriously, having planned several events for its platform, including this one which will be its first boxing event. The fight is scheduled for Friday, November 15, after being postponed.
The match was originally scheduled for July 20 at the spectacular AT&T Stadium, a prime venue for what promises to be one of the fights of the year, but had to be delayed due to health concerns by Tyson. Now, after a lot of waiting, we will finally witness this clash on Friday, November 15, 2024.

Most Valuable Promotions released a statement revealing that Mike had been experiencing health issues related to an ulcer, leading doctors to advise him to reduce the intensity of his training.
To demonstrate fairness and ensure both fighters had adequate preparation time, the fight was postponed. The event will be broadcast LIVE on Netflix.
For nearly four years, speculation has surrounded a potential clash between the legendary heavyweight champion and the influencer turned semi-professional boxer.
They shared the same card in 2020, when ‘The Maddest Man on the Planet’ faced Roy Jones Jr. and Jake Paul squared off against Nate Robinson, with only the YouTuber emerging victorious.
Interestingly, Tyson had joked in 2022 that he would fight Jake Paul as long as he had a billion dollar deposit in his bank account.
Fast forward a few years, and although ‘Iron’ fails to raise that sum, he will certainly go home with a nice sum when facing Jake Paul in the ring.

There are many detractors of Jake Paul’s boxing career, but no one can deny the progression he has shown in the sport.
He is no longer the young man focused solely on his YouTube channel; he is committed to working on his physique, striking technique, cardio and several aspects of improving as a boxer.
His track record confirms this growth; he fought a total of 10 matches, losing only one, with six wins by knockout… the kid hits hard.
Mike Tyson needs no introduction; his fists have always spoken for him, and the brutality of his strikes should never be taken lightly.
With 58 boxing fights at the highest level, he has lost six, and two ended in a no decision, achieving an incredible total of 44 knockouts. This promises to be an interesting showdown between two formidable fighters.
