Heritage Audio updates its i73 Pro
Shortly after announcing the release of a virtual Successor, the brand reveals the new features of an update.
The i73 Pro One, i73 Pro 2, and i73 Pro Edge digital audio interfaces receive a software update, available alongside a new version of the i73 Pro Mixer integrated virtual mixer. On the menu:
- support for stereo tracks and stereo plug-ins
- The new HW Mon (for Hardware Monitoring) option, available in the i73 Pro Mixer by selecting it from the Monitoring drop-down menu, allows i73 interfaces to function alone as mic preamps with DSP inserts for each channel
- i73 Pro Edge’s ADAT ports can be converted to S/PDIF when needed (via the i73 Pro Mixer’s Digital I/O drop-down menu)
- The i73 Pro Mixer now includes a Plugin Delay Compensation option in the Sounds drop-down menu for audio interface inputs
