What Talent!which gave us a first season full of entertainment, was coming to an end, and it was yesterday that everything was supposed to conclude with a special 90-minute finale broadcast on the airwaves of New.
However, as we know, things did not go as planned.
In total, we were treated to seven artistic performances, including talented duos, groups and solos, with Lil Zak, Harmonix, Stardust, Lil Afro Krew, C4pitals, Rick Duff et Nathan Loignon. This time, the judges certainly had the right to speak, but it was the public who would choose the big winner(s) of this first season.
Remember that a prize of $100,000 is at stake!
The evening began in spectacular fashion, featuring not only the finalists, but also some candidates eliminated from the adventure. C4pitalsthe dance troupe, subsequently offered a most dynamic performance in the first minutes!
A few minutes later, it was the turn ofHarmonix to go on stage and shine as only they know how.
However, a major problem would have disturbed the matter for Kevin Bazinet and his young colleagues, according to what a source familiar with the matter tells us.
The number that the team had prepared with care and passion for a long time would have encountered an unexpected event.
Just before the performance, Marie-Josée Gauvin announced to the home audience and the crowd present that the quintet had to turn around and modify its long-awaited show, due to musical rights.
Sad news thatHarmonix learned only a few hours before the show…
An injustice?
The number would however have been approved by production in advance, according to the same source.
The artists would even have practiced this same number again during the dress rehearsal, the day before the final.
Was someone careless in production?
Harmonix would therefore have only had a few hours to reinvent itself, information that was also highlighted on the air.
According to our source, this was a great source of additional stress and inequality for training.
Thus, a deep feeling of injustice inhabits the members of the group, at the time of writing these lines.
The beauty of this ordeal is thatHarmonix proved, in an even bigger way, that they were incredibly talented.
The judges were also greatly impressed!
Marie-Mai also stressed that this ordeal represented an injustice for an artist.
“(…) No one deserves to have their song changed like that, the day of a talent show final. But it proved to you, and it proved to everyone in the room, how Harmonix is Harmonix thanks to your talent, your resilience.
It is also still possible to vote for them, or for the performance of your choice, on the Noovo website until 10 p.m. this Tuesday, November 12.
Remember that the online voting platform experienced a live outage, apparently due to too many simultaneous connections, according to explanations provided by production.
So, we have not yet been able to find out who will win the $100,000 prize at the scheduled time, live.
Who will win?
To find out, tune in this Thursday, November 14 on Noovo.
