Three children aged 2, 11 and 13 were found dead on Tuesday November 12 in a house located in Taninges (Haute-Savoie). According to information collected by RTL from a source close to the investigation, a father reported to the gendarmerie having discovered his three children dead when returning to his home. The three victims reportedly had stab wounds. Emergency services were called, but could only confirm the death.
The source specifies that “their mother, who seems to suffer from depression, is not present”. Research is underway to locate it. : around sixty gendarmes were mobilized, including soldiers from the Chambéry Research Section and the high mountain gendarmerie platoon.
Dispatched to the site around 12:30 p.m., the emergency services were only able to note the deaths, said the firefighters, confirming information from the Dauphiné Libéré. According to the regional daily, around sixty gendarmes and a helicopter are mobilized for the search. Taninges is a commune of 3,500 inhabitants in the Giffre valley, approximately 50 km east of Geneva.
