The Super Nintendo World Direct special zone Donkey Kong Country was broadcast here and you can find from now on the French subtitled version of the video as well as our full summary.
So far, the Super Nintendo World from the park Universal Japon was composed of only one zone, the Super Mario Land. A from next monthvisitors to the park will be able to explore the jungle of Donkey. Waiting for, Shigeru Miyamoto takes us on a little tour of the owner as he did with the Mario zone (remember).

- We go from the Mario zone to the DK zone by taking a cave-style tunnel
- The music changes and we hear the Donkey theme
- The DK area is quite small. It is composed in particular of various huts, Donkey's cabin and the imposing golden temple (which smokes)
- Area matters one big attraction and lots of shops, “secrets” and little games
- One of these games uses giant congas. This little game is played by three and requires that we hit the congas in rhythm to bring out Rambi from his cash register;
- The area also hides four letters KONG like in games. You have to find them and activate them with your bracelet Power-Up Band.
- There is a new DK bracelet but all others work just as well in the area (see Power-Ups in detail HERE).
- As a reminder, the bracelet Power-Up allows you to interact with different attractions and accumulate coins which can then be found on the park's mobile application.
- There are other secrets to discover and activate with your bracelet in the area.
- The hut Jungle Beat Shakes allows you to eat with a super DK Wild Hot Dog and its fine avocado sauce or even with this magnificent DK Crush Sundae with “banana flavor”, served fresh in its barrel. These are two exclusives in the area.
- As you approach the cabin Donkeyyou will be able to meet him (and we must admit that it is quite impressive) and even take a photo with him.
- Like in the games Funky’s Fly ‘n’ Buy you will be able to purchase items: stuffed animals and goodies to the glory of DK.
- The main attraction is at the Golden Temple: it's a big ride on a mine cart that goes through the jungle
- You have to follow traces of DKactivate your bracelet at the entrance and enter the temple (logical, otherwise, you won't do the attraction).
- In the long (queue) corridor a painting shows gorillas as if in adoration in front of a large banana
- THE animatronics of Cranky and the Squawks parrot invites us to get into the wagons to push back “the“Tiki Tak tribe of the Golden Temple and protect the golden banana” ! The safety of the golden banana depends on us!
- A great adventure awaits us, we will have to face the Tiki Tak tribe who have invaded the temple and prevent Tiki Tong from stealing the big banana!
- So how will this adventure on this roller coaster unfold? We'll still have to wait to find out, but we know that a system will give the illusion that the wagons are jumping from one rail to another and we can expect a lot of thrills and interactions…
- The Direct ends with the arrival of JL Bonnier, president of Universal Studios Japan which announces the opening of the first zone Donkey Kong Country December 11, 2024
- The Super Nintendo World from the park Universal Epic Universe will be inaugurated in Orlando the 22nd of 2025 with its Mario and DK zones (see IC detailsI).
