Nantes Métropole, in Loire-Atlantique, has adopted a new climate plan aiming for carbon neutrality in 2050. That is to say a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions of 46% by 2030, compared to 15% in the previous trajectory. It also adopted a target of 100% renewable energy in 2050 at the end of 2023. What role does photovoltaics play in Nantes Métropole’s energy policy?
