During the municipal council meeting held last week, photovoltaics was once again on the agenda. During the previous session, it was about the photovoltaic park which has been planned for two years on the site of the old Tovo quarry, route de Paradou. Here there is no question of such a vast project, but of a 500 Kwc photovoltaic power plant, with 100% of the production reinjected into the network. Following a spontaneous offer for the installation of these panels on the tennis site, the municipality was interested in this project; However, it had to launch a call for tenders for this total area of 2200 m2 between roof and shade belonging to the private domain of the municipality which will be covered. Following the competition between three companies, it was the FRANSUN company which won the market. This company will conclude before a notary, at its expense, a long lease for a period of 30 years with the municipality; it will result in the payment of an annual fee of 6,000 euros net.
