On All Saints’ Day, we discussed the project for a future footbridge, in Pontivy, between the Jégourel car park and the Récollets island, as well as the one which would be attached to the Ponteau bridge.
And the development of the quays of Récollets, du Couvent, Niémen, Presbourg with a view to creating cycle continuity as part of the Vélodyssée and greenway no. 8 of Brittany (between Lorient and Saint-Brieuc). We now know the cost of everything.
Two million euros investment
During the last municipal council of Pontivy, Alexandra Le Nyassistant to the works, recalled the costs of the two footbridges: €550,000 for the large one, €75,000 for the small one.
Then she revealed the entire financing plan, and therefore the subsidies requested, for all of these developments: Europe (€205,389), Green Funds (€205,389), Region (€300,000), Pontivy Community (€205,389), Department (€225,000). There therefore remains self-financing of €912,723, i.e. a total of 2 053 890 €.
We hope to be heard before the end of the year to obtain these subsidies.
A gateway between Toulboubou and the Pontivy convention center?
Jean-Jacques Merceur, opposition advisor, then asked “if it would not be more judicious to build a footbridge between the future Toulboubou car park and the convention center which hosts events”.
Christine Le Strat responded that “we had to make choices” and that the “convention center will be more accessible from the Jégourel car park”. Alexandra Le Ny added: “The small footbridge aims to minimize the danger at the Ponteau bridge. »
