The “Pierre Garnier mania” is not about to stop. Already highly acclaimed in France, the Norman singer has just been awarded a new prestigious trophy: the prize for best French artist at the MTV Europe Music Awards.
The results were revealed this Sunday, November 10, 2024 during a gala ceremony in Manchester, United Kingdom, in the presence of several world music stars.
“I wanted to thank you so much. You named me best French artist for MTV. It's just crazy. We've been living an incredible adventure for a year now. I hope this is just the beginning” welcomed with a smile the big winner of the 2024 Star Academy season, born in Villedieu-les-Poêles in Manche.
In competition with other French singers with international influence such as Gims, Aya Nakamura, Slimane, Vitaa and Dadju and Tayc, Pierre Garnier once again shows that he is one of the influential artists at the end of 2024.
Adding your name to the list of winners of the 2024 MTV Europe Music Awards is all the more prestigious when you look at the many international superstars awarded.
Taylor Swift (best artist), Sabrina Carpenter (best song), Benson Boone (musical revelation), Ariana Grande (best pop artist), Eminem (best Hip-hop artist) and Imagine Dragons (best alternative artist). And so Pierre Garnier.
Thanks to this new award, the young Norman singer could experience even greater international exposure.
And this, barely a week after winning two NRJ Music Awards for “French-speaking revelation” and “French-speaking song”, thanks to his single “Ceux qu’on été”.
