Another difficult match abroad for Caron Industrie

The Caron Industrie Junior AA of Montmagny recorded a third loss on opposing ice this season when it posted six victories and three defeats. Martin Guérette’s men fell 5-1 against fifth place, V-Boutin de Plessisville.

Caron Industrie did not start the match on a good note. At the 43rd second of the start, V-Boutin surprised the Magnymontois by registering on the mark. The Côte-du-Sud representatives, however, continued the first third on a better note by leading 18 shots towards the Plessisvilloise as well as taking advantage of three numerical advantages, but the starting goalie of V-Boutin, Donovan Perreault, remained solid in the face of attacks from Martin Guérette’s troops.

A second third to completely forget

Caron Industrie had certainly not assessed this scenario in the second period. V-Boutin took total control of the match by scoring four goals to bring the score to five goals to zero.

Montmagny started the last period on a new note. Bryan Chabot shined the goal lights with his second of the season to take the shutout from the V-Boutin goalie. Le Caron Industrie was unable to find the back of the net for a second time.

The Magnymontois will find their supporters on Sunday, while their great rival, Lafontaine de Bellechasse will be visiting.
