“It is with great sadness that we learned of the death of Colonel Mbaye Gueye, former Director of the Mobile Intervention Group (GMI) of Senegal. A man of great value and dedication, he knew, through his courage and his sense of duty, to play a crucial role during the 1987 crisis following the delisting law, by easing tensions between police officers wanting to go to the palace of justice and police »declared the minister.
