With the G7 summit in Italy barely over, US President Joe Biden went to a fundraising gala in Los Angeles in the presence of Hollywood stars while his rival, Donald Trump, tries to seduce the State of Michigan.
Actors George Clooney and Julia Roberts, American singer Barbra Streisand as well as former President Barack Obama, of whom Joe Biden was vice-president during his two terms (2009-2017), attended the gala which has already reported $28 million, according to his campaign team; a record for the Democratic Party.
In front of Hollywood stars and donors, Mr. Biden explained in a serious tone that whoever wins the election will likely have to appoint two new justices to the Supreme Court.
