The stakes are high. French swimming will meet at the Odyssée swimming pool in Chartres from June 16 to 21 for the French championships, a major event before the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. This is the only chance for professional swimmers to qualify for the event.
Reach the minimums
The swimmers of the French team are in the spotlight. Léon Marchand, Florent Manaudou and Charlotte Bonnet are present to achieve the minimums (decreed by the French Swimming Federation) and hope to obtain an Olympic quota to swim at La Défense Arena this summer.

They must finish in the top two of each final, as no repechage will be possible if they want to qualify. In total, 600 swimmers are expected, and 1,000 spectators can be welcomed each day in the stands of L’Odyssée.
