The police arrested a motorcyclist trying to escape a check, with his 12-year-old son as a passenger. It's a real hit for this man.
On Thursday, October 26, in Abrets-en-Dauphiné (Isère), a routine check by the gendarmes took an unexpected turn when a motorcyclist tried to flee, with his 12-year-old child as a passenger. This escape attempt, endangering not only the driver but also the child, quickly attracted the attention of the police, who managed to intercept the motorcyclist shortly after.
A series of serious offenses
Checks carried out by the gendarmes revealed a series of serious offenses. The motorcyclist, who was traveling without a valid motorcycle license, had already been subject to repeated sanctions for driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol, which led to the cancellation of his car license.
The situation became even more worrying when it was noted that the 12-year-old child, seated as a passenger, was not wearing any suitable safety equipment. This breach of safety standards was all the more alarming given the mechanical condition of the motorcycle, whose tires were worn to the point of being slick, thus increasing the risk of skidding or accident. The police also noted that the vehicle's registration document had not been updated, adding an additional offense to the file.
