46 Yvelines municipalities classified (or reclassified) in a state of natural disaster

After classifying 75 Yvelines municipalities in a state of natural disaster for the period from October 8 to 13 (passage of the Kirk storm), the interministerial commission ruled for the period from October 16 to 20also very rainy.

It was held on October 30, 2024 and the results were relayed on November 5, 2024 by the Official Journal: 40 communes Yvelines has been classified as a state of natural disaster for this period. The commission also added 6 new municipalities to the list of those already classified for the period from November 8 to 13.

The list of municipalities concerned

• For the period of November 8 and 13

In addition to 75 municipalities already classified in a state of natural disaster add:

-Les Bréviaires, La Falaise, Maurepas, Orgeval

-Saint-Lambert and Toussus-le-Noble

• For the period from October 16 to 20

-Ablis, Auffargis

-Beynes, Boinville-le-Gaillard, Bonnelles, Bullion

-Carrières-sur-Seine, La Celle-les-Bordes, Cernay-la-Ville, Chatou, Chevreuse, Choisel

-Dampierre-en-Yvelines, Emancé, Les-Essarts-le-Roi, Houilles, Jouars-Pontchartrain

-Lévis-Saint-Nom, Longvilliers, Le Mesnil-Saint-Denis

-Neauphle-le-Château, Orcemont, Orphin, Orsonville

-Paray-Douaville, Le Perray-en-Yvelines, Ponthévrard, Prunay-en-Yvelines

-Rambouillet, Rochefort-en-Yvelines, Saint-Arnoult-en-Yvelines, Saint-Forget, Saint-Hilarion, Saint-Martin-de-Bréthencourt, Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse, Sainte-Mesme, Sartrouville, Senlisse, Sonchamp and Villiers-Saint-Frédéric.

Procedures still in progress

23 other municipalities are still under investigation.

“Their files will be represented at a commission which will meet next week. »

The prefecture also reminds that the victims have a maximum period of 30 days to present or confirm their claim for compensation with their insurance company.
