A man was shot and killed in Perpignan during the night from Friday to Saturday, the prosecution said this Saturday, November 9. A murder investigation has been opened.

The 23-year-old victim was found injured around 4 a.m. on a street north of the city, before succumbing to his injuries in hospital, the police said.AFP.
“The facts appear to have occurred following a dispute between the victim and another individual”specified Philippe Latgé, deputy public prosecutor.
However, no arrests have been made, the investigation currently aimed at “identify and interview the people who were present at the time of the events and obviously to question the perpetrator”adds the prosecution.
Investigators still need to hear from witnesses. The victim was not known to the courts, according to Philippe Latgé.
The murder investigation was entrusted to the Perpignan police station.
