Brad Pitt, aka Sonny Hayes, appears to have won the Mexican Grand Prix

On the occasion of the Mexico Grand Prix, Brad Pitt, who plays the role of Sonny Hayes in the upcoming film “F1 ”, was seen celebrating in front of a crowd of fans. He appears in several photos and videos getting out of his car and celebrating what appears to be a victory, probably for the purposes of the film planned for next year.

The image of Brad Pitt, waving the Mexican flag to cheers, could thus reveal a key element of the scenario, where his character faces Joshua Pearce, played by Damson Idris. In the story, Hayes is a former driver from the 1990s who left racing after a serious accident, but returns to guide Pearce into the Apex GP team.

The film's international release is set for June 25, 2025. Filming began during the 2023 British Grand Prix, where Pitt told Martin Brundle on Sky Sports F1: “It's the best moment of my life… L The atmosphere is incredible. Participating in this universe and telling our story in this way… All the teams opened their doors to us. ”
