A triple world champion arrives
All races will welcome very high level athletes. On the Ultra (130 km), we will notably find Sylvain Court, a figure of the discipline. The 40-year-old Habs has a nice track record with three world champion titles (one individual and two team titles). He will notably have to come up against Samir Tazi, who triumphed on the Saint-Jacques in 2022. We will also have to monitor the performance of Alexandre Beraud, winner of the Trail Terra Volcana (80 km) in Volvic, last May.

The notable figures of this 12th edition
The organization of the Trail du Saint-Jacques has revealed some significant figures. In particular, she stocked up on drinks and food. Purchases of 660 liters of beer, 850 kg of bananas, 210 kg of cheese or 4,200 liters of soda have been made.
So that the event takes place in the best conditions, 380 directional arrows and 720 Barriers have been installed throughout the routes. On the 1,100 volunteers mobilized, 135 will be posted as flaggers.

Saturday June 15
Departure of the 79 km Grand Trail in Monistrol-d’Allier. At 9:30 a.m. At the town hall level.
Opening of the Ultra-Trail village in Puy-en-Velay. From 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. On Place Monseigneur-de-Galard, to welcome runners and spectators throughout the weekend.
Demonstration by the Misters brothers at Lac du Bouchet. At 10:30 a.m. Runners and spectators will enjoy the entertainment of this duo equipped with an accordion and a banjo.
Departure from the 18 km Trail des Chibottes in Solignac-sur-Loire. At 14 hours. At the level of the village hall.
Concert by Thierry Rothier at the Riou. From 2:15 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. This will be one of the many musical events on Saturday.

Departure from the 51 km Maratrail in Monistrol-d’Allier. At 7 O’clock. At the town hall level.
