The pass of six?
Rodez is out of the week with three games with so many points collected. After having managed to return to height of Lorient at the cost of a crazy finish (3-3), the Ruthenois went look for a draw in Bastia (2-2), before holding in check the Parisian leader on his lawn (3-3). Results which extend the Raf's series of invincibility to five matchessince the Aveyron club had just achieved two successes in a row: against Grenoble (2-1) and Martigues (0-2). Didier Santini's gang, 15th with 12 points, intends to finish a sixth match without knowing defeat.
Annecy shines
Promoted to Ligue 2 at the end of spring 2022, Annecy has a brilliant start to the season. With 22 points on the clock, FCA occupies third place in the championship. The Annéciens, who have just brought down Pau even though they evolved into numerical inferiority for more than 40 minutes (2-0), will try to achieve a second away victory. Note that the confrontations between the Raf and Annecy were fueled, last year, by the Bordeaux-Rodez episode of 2023, the outcome of which had, initially, relegated the FCA to National 1before the demotion of Sochaux.
Rodez advantage, but…
Since summer 2022, Annecy and Rodez therefore faced each other four times. If the advantage is at Raf with two victories, a draw and a defeat, the three points have, each time, were brought back from the Sports Park. In Paul-Lignon, the Sang et Or are experiencing more difficulties: beaten 1-3 last May, they conceded a draw (2-2) in August 2022.
