Inflation does not help animal welfare.

Conditions are becoming more and more difficult. To try to overcome this, this Sunday, volunteers from the Castelginest association Agir pour les animals will invite the public to combine business with pleasure.

The garage sale for the benefit of the shelter will be back again this year.

The meeting will take place outside the Joséphine Baker multipurpose room in Castelginest throughout the day. Opening will begin at 8 a.m. Exhibitors will be invited to come and sell the items they wish to part with and make a small profit while helping the residents of the shelter: the contribution that will be requested to benefit from a location will be entirely donated to the animal protection association.

As a reminder, the association manages the Castelginest municipal shelter and this event is essential to cover part of the expenses incurred in recent months for the reception and care of residents of the shelter (abandonments, animals found stray, removed for mistreatment …) as well as veterinary and operating costs.

Visitors and exhibitors will also be able to enjoy a refreshment bar and a small vegetarian meal, also for the benefit of the animals.

All visitors are eagerly awaited to make this day a success: finding a good deal, having a drink and having a good time will be the credo of this day dedicated to conviviality.
