Patrik “f0rest” Lindberg returns to Ninjas in Pajamas as a brand ambassador after announcing his retirement.

Swedish legend Patrik “f0rest” Lindberg, an iconic player in the Counter-Strike scene, today announced his retirement and return to Ninjas in Pajamas (NiP), this time in the role of brand ambassador. This is a new step for the man who marked the history of NiP and the Counter-Strike game, returning almost five years after his departure in 2020.

As a brand ambassador, f0rest will play a central role in supporting the organization's competitive and creative efforts. He will co-broadcast the team's matches on CS, including qualifying for the Shanghai Major, and will offer daily streaming sessions on Twitch, where fans can play alongside him via the FACEIT platform and participate in various events community.

To celebrate the return, NiP's website is currently sporting f0rest's live stream, featured prominently. A limited-edition merchandising line will also be launching soon, including a commemorative jersey from the famous 87-0 winning streak, a digital collectible, and other surprises. The Ninjas in Pajamas Dojo, a fan-only rewards platform, will also feature exclusive challenges to win physical items and virtual cosmetics.

“A real return to basics”

“Returning to Ninjas in Pajamas as a brand ambassador is a real homecoming for me”said f0rest. “I'm excited to reconnect with NiP fans, both long-time and new, and share this new adventure with them. »

Hicham Chahine, co-CEO of NiP, also spoke about this return: “It’s a pleasure to reunite with one of the most iconic faces of our esports organization. Patrik has accomplished great things as a player, and we are delighted to welcome him back as an ambassador. Its strong community and ties to NiP made this partnership an obvious fit, and we look forward to seeing this collaboration evolve. »

20 years of legendary career

During his career, f0rest won a Major (ESL Cologne 2014) with NiP and placed in the HLTV top 20 four times, reaching second place in 2013. Member of the iconic team that achieved a record 87 consecutive victories in LAN, he is one of the most influential Counter-Strike players. By taking on this role as ambassador, f0rest officially ends an exceptional career spanning nearly two decades, which began in 2003.

To mark his debut in this role, f0rest will be live this weekend at the Svenska Cupen in Stockholm (November 9-10), where Team NiP will be competing, and he will also be on hand to meet fans .
